Complete instructions for a 16" pillow with reversible apron. The pillow apron has panels for each season and ties on to quickly and easily change your seasonal décor.

Techniques used include paper piecing, dimensional fabric folding, and appliqué. Complete instructions for paper piecing are included.

Individual block patterns for each season may also be used for wall hangings, placemats, and other seasonal quilts.

This past year I started a friendship group at a local quilt shop. We met the first Friday of each month for two hours and made a number of seasonal items, including this pillow. In the process, participants learned several new techniques — paper piecing, applique by machine, dimensional fabric folding, inset folded borders, even how to make yo-yos.
