WINNER: Debbie M
PATTERN: Ultimate Travel Bag
THEIR STORY: “My first Ultimate Travel Bag was finished just a few days before I jumped on a plane to meet my NEW SISTER, of which I found through a dna test. ????
I wanted to make her something beautiful and useful. She has four miniature dachshunds and I was lucky to find this dog fabric. Even having made a few different ByAnnie bags before, I still goofed by using a wrong circle template on one of the corners. ???? I worried then it wouldn’t be finished in time. I ended up sewing the cut piece back on, used the correct template, then covered the outside bottom corners with the coordinating fabric and I actually like the look! Whew.
My sister absolutely loves her bag! She used it when she came and visited and loves to show it to her friends! I’ve since made three more UTBs. By the way, Annie’s stiletto is worth it’s weight in gold ????"
WHAT WE LOVED: Annie had this to say, "Debbie did a great job of combining fabrics featuring dachshunds in the bag. Her variations of color and scale really make an interesting bag. I'm guessing that the quote was part of the selvage and that's a great touch on the front pocket. And the red that she chose for the coordinating fabric is perfect to tie it all together. I chuckled when I read about her mistake in cutting using the circle rulers and her solution was perfect — I actually think it adds the perfect touch to the finished bag. The photograph of the bag on the dachshund bench is the icing on the cake!"

Storyteller Award
WINNER: Marden L
PATTERN: Bowl Me Over Necessories
THEIR STORY: "I’ve been sewing and quilting all my life but 20 years ago I had a stroke. I had to learn how to sew all over again with one hand.( I have very limited use of my left arm and hand) I didn’t think I would be able to make Annie bags with only one hand but I’m proud of my accomplishments. This is my first Bowl Me Over, with help from Randi’s Slow Along I was able to finish. I made the Necessories to match on my own."

Honorable Mention
WINNER: Barbara F
PATTERN: Backseat Babysitter
THEIR STORY: "One of my daughters got remarried, so her family is now a "your, mine, and ours." She had 3 boys, he had 6, 3 boys and 3 girls. They had a boy together. During Covid a college was selling a almost new 15 passenger van, and as my oldest grandson said "There's never enough cup holders." I got the idea to make each child one, and we were all eagerly waiting for the second child together, my daughter's first girl.
IT took me longer to finish than I anticipated, because we lost that precious baby girl. One day fine, the next day placenta previa. After an emergency c-section, our beautiful 7 lb 4 oz baby girl was Medflighted To Massachusetts General Hospital, where they tried, but she only lived 4 days. I had trouble getting back into sewing, but I knew the other children were still waiting. I made more than necessary, but my daughter decided to keep all of them, to change around, as they have more than just their "bus." My youngest grandson found a novel use of his cupholder!"
WHAT WE LOVED: Our team member Lee had this to say, "I really liked her story and the idea. I liked all of her bags."

WINNER: Mary F
PATTERN: Got Your Back Easy Does It
THEIR STORY: "Had these fabrics for a while. I wanted a backpack but I didn’t want one that would be purchased at a store. How fun these fabrics are in my backpack. Had fabrics left and decided I also could use an Easy Does It. Since I had made Easy Does It before, I decided to step out of my comfort zone, I added a zipper pocket to the front as you can see. I added other pockets. Now I have a fun set. I still have fabric left, just have to decide what other bag I want to add to my set. Thank you for all the great patterns and videos."
WHAT WE LOVED: Our team member Jacque had this to say, "These bags are lots of fun. I love that she has a little statue to go with them. What a cute set to take traveling near or far."

WINNER: Nathalie A @needlen4th
PATTERN: Jewelry Travel Wallet
THEIR STORY: "I'd dreamt of this jewelry storage unit; I'd even tried to design one myself! Until I discovered the one from byannie.com with its perfect dimensions and features. It deserves to be known! I love it so much that I'm coordinating it with my holidays ! This second version is chic and elegant for my summer trip to Japan.
I'd been looking forward to this trip for so long that I wanted everything to be perfect. I removed a small pocket to add an area with mesh, for my many earrings. I added a zip as I'd done previously to make it more secure to carry."
WHAT WE LOVED: Our team member Bunker had this to say, "Love the fabric! This looks absolutely amazing. I also really enjoy the extra things in the picture, like the chopsticks."

PATTERN: Under Cover
THEIR STORY: "I have been a BERNINA Lover for years and have been looking for the perfect pattern to protect my machines without having to draft a pattern on my own. I was super excited when I found Annie's pattern as her pattern gave specific measurements based on BERNINA machines and I couldn't wait to give it a go for my B770 & B735!
I found the pattern spot on, true to size without the guesswork. The pockets are not only attractive but very useful as it holds the knee lever, pedal, table, and power cord perfectly!! The magnetic top closure is another bonus --such easy access to pick up and go!:) The pattern was easy to follow, very informative and the end results are superb! Thank you for a great pattern, I am now off to make another for my cherished B550!"
WHAT WE LOVED: Our team member Casey had this to say, "Beautiful photos of a tasteful sewing machine cover. Loved the light and the neutral tones."
