FANDANGLE FABRIC BLOG HOP

We've had a great time seeing our latest patterns come to life with this exciting new fabric by Christa Watson for Benartex! When asked how she came up with the inspiration for her fabric design, Christa said, "I love creating sparkle and depth with fabric and quilting. A lot of my designs are inspired by strong modern geometrics. I’m inspired by machine quilting designs and angular quilting designs. I wanted designs that would add sparkle and texture." .

Introducing: FANDANGLE!

There are twenty different prints in this collection, with half in cool colors and the other half in warm.

With so much variety in shape, color and scale, this line was a lot of fun to use with our latest patterns!

Clam Up

Easy and fun to make, these bags in five sizes are perfect for storing and carrying make-up, sewing supplies, tech gear, and more!

With only a few fat quarters of Fandangle, we were able to create a cohesive set of bags that are really playful and unique.

Contain Yourself

These soft-sided fabric bins were designed to help you stay organized while being a great decoration piece as well.

On the largest bin we loved using Fandangle's “Baubles and Bits” because of it's large scale print. We thought this worked well for a home decor piece and really loved the contrast of the “Triangle Trinkets” pattern on the lining and handles.

If you're looking for something more subtle, you could try using the “Confetti Crosshatch" pattern instead.

Grab Some Grub 2.0

Carry all the makings for a hearty lunch in this roomy bag. A mesh pocket on the inside holds an ice pack, utensils, napkins and more.

Fandangle is great for kids and adults alike. Kids will like it for its bright colors and quirky shapes, while adults will love its modern, contemporary feel.

Notice how this fabric looks great with both Antique Brass and Nickel hardware!

Running With Scissors

A handy zip-up tool case to store and carry a variety of tools, from rotary cutters and scissors to markers, turning toolssmall rulers, and more.

Because of the exciting colors found in the Fandangle line, we had a lot of fun auditioning different colors of ByAnnie fold-over elastic and mesh.

We ended up using atom red fold-over elastic to match the bold “Sparkling Squares” design and we chose pewter mesh to subtly compliment the “Beaded Curtain” design.

Take A Stand

Stand-up totes in two sizes have an easy-to-install zippered top that opens wide for easy access to the contents inside.

Many of the ByAnnie zippers could be paired with the Fandangle line. Notice how on the smaller bag we chose to use a zipper that blended into the fabric. Alternatively, on the larger bag, we chose to use a contrasting zipper for a more eye-catching effect.

We really like how this fabric gives us a lot of options to work with!

Better Together

Running With Scissors and Take A Stand are great complimentary patterns.

Use the smaller Take A Stand bag as an A-frame to hold the Running With Scissors bag upright. This will allow you to have your tools and supplies close at hand without taking up a lot of table space.

You can also fit the Running With Scissors bag inside the larger Take A Stand bag.

With Fandangle, it's easy to make a matching set!
