Welcome to our little corner of the Enchanted Influencer Blog Hop. We feel very privileged to participate in this event!

Special thanks to FreeSpirit Fabrics and Valori Wells for providing this beautiful fabric line and allowing us to immerse ourselves in its tropical world of color.

For the past year, traveling was at a responsible and cautious minimum, but Valori’s Enchanted fabric line gave us just the escape we needed!

We sewed eight different projects using these cheerful fabrics, and we hope that they will inspire you and give you some ideas for your next project.

GIVEAWAY: Be sure to leave a comment on this blog post stating which ByAnnie bag you would love to sew using Valori Wells’ Enchanted and why. We will choose one commenter* at random to win an Enchanted pre-cut pack from FreeSpirit Fabrics!

*We will reach out to the winner through email. That winner will have 48 hours to respond with shipping information. If we do not receive a response within 48 hours, we will choose another winner.

“Experience fuels my creative spirit. Enchantment arose from my experience of the magical color, intricate designs, and generous people I discovered in and around Marrakech. The colors of the city are intense and vibrant, from the rugs to the spices, they can’t be ignored.

I absorbed the patterns surrounding me in the Moroccan tiles, wood and gypsum carvings, and paintings, and tried to capture the scenes that resonated with me in photos. Outside the city, Anima Gardens, is an oasis of color and art. I was encircled by thousands of green hues, textures, and vibrant, colorful sculptures. Every inch of the landscape was a feast for the eyes. I was captivated by the intricate tiles at our small lunch café and by the amazing contrast of the desert with the bright woven camel rugs during an afternoon camel ride.

Block printing with the young ladies of Project Soar - who use affirmations at the beginning of every session: I am Strong, I am Smart, I am Capable, I am A Leader, I am A Feminist - reminded me of my own words of affirmation. This collection is my physical representation of these personal inspirations and experiences. I hope Enchantment inspires your own creative experience.” — Valori Wells on “Enchanted”

We were excited to use Valori Wells’ new fabric line for our projects. It has a great variety in color and scale. Enchanted provides great smaller scale prints (perfect for binding), a number of medium-size prints (ideal for main and coordinating fabrics), larger scale prints (great for main fabrics on medium to large bags), and lighter colors (wonderful for lining the inside of a bag). The wide variety of colors made auditioning zipper and mesh colors extra fun, too! See more of this fun line HERE!
