PATTERN: In Control
THEIR STORY: “My close friend, Jo, is an artist. She paints some for pleasure, some for contests, and some for sale. In addition, she teaches art lessons. I recently visited her in St. George, Utah, (home of ByAnnie!) and wanted to bring her a special gift.
I decided "In Control" would be perfect for her brushes and assorted other painting/artist-related items. In order to personalize it-just for her-I visited her artist website and "grabbed" a few images of her paintings and then printed them on inkjet printable fabric. "In Control" was the perfect size for the inkjet fabric pages.
A few of the photos show the completed "In Control" taken in Jo's art studio. She was quite taken with the gift design and the personalization. I enjoyed making "In Control". Many skills learned from previous projects were used. Thanks for another great pattern design!"

PATTERN: A Place for Everything
THEIR STORY: "My first By Annie Bag A place for everything . Or should I say mine and my husbands first one. I wanted a bag that was really could hold everything!! From raw wool, tatting, crocheting, knitting, felting, hand sewing and patterns. To do this I had to make some modifications as I needed 6 pages instead of 2 in order to get everything into one bag.
My husband thought I was crazy trying to modify a pattern when I am so new to sewing but supported me as I watch tons of Annie’s videos and read everything many times. But the best part of this beautiful bag is that when I suffered a mini stroke before I was finished, my husband (who had been watching all these videos with me) finished doing all the binding on the bag and pages as well as the center strap.
He even followed my diagrams of what went in each pocket space to surprise me with the finished bag as I got out of the hospital!!! I found me a keeper both in the bag and in my husband. "

THEIR STORY: "The Out & About backpack was a huge hit with my 4 year old grandson! He loves dinosaurs & trains. The fabric speaks for itself but it's quilted with the trains end to end quilting embroidery design (Designs by JuJu) and echo stitched around the dinosaurs on the front panel.
Thanks to the video tips on cutting out the pattern, the dinosaurs match up on the straps & zippered sections. There is a custom label inside (Designs by JuJu) and even 2 fun dinosaur zipper pulls (Happy Hardware on facebook).
I should have taken more photos of all the fun pockets (he counted off 11) but I haven't been able to get the bag away from him! It's the perfect size to hold car toys and oh so many hiding places for snacks!"
