We are beyond thrilled to unveil our special release of brand-new Zippers by the Yard colors! It’s been over a decade since we last introduced new zipper shades, and we’ve taken that time to dive deep into what truly inspires us.
As we brainstormed, we found ourselves captivated by the fresh, vibrant colors of spring. We explored an array of gorgeous pinks, purples, greens, and other hues reminiscent of a blooming garden.
After nearly a year of researching, comparing shades with our existing collection, and testing them alongside the latest fabric designs from our favorite designers, we carefully curated a set of four stunning new colors.

Coral --------------
From the very beginning, we knew we HAD to include a CORAL.
Even with six stunning shades of pink and a variety of reds and oranges in our current lineup, we felt the need for something in between — something bright, bold, and full of energy.
A vivid color like CORAL is perfect for enhancing bright fabrics or creating striking contrast against deeper, richer tones in your projects.
It’s a versatile shade that we know will spark your creativity!

Next up, LILAC — a must-have color for any zipper collection. This soft, purplish-blue hue complements a vast array of projects.
With its mix of purple and blue undertones, it pairs effortlessly with a wide range of colors, making it incredibly versatile.
We love how LILAC enhances the depth and richness of fabrics from a variety of manufacturers.
Whether you're working with subtle pastels or vibrant brights, this shade adds just the right touch of charm and elegance.
Orchid ------------
Staying in the purple family, we couldn’t resist adding this stunning ORCHID shade.
It's bold enough to enhance bright fabrics — yet balanced enough to complement more neutral shades without overwhelming them.
At the same time, ORCHID has a softness that allows it to blend well with neutral tones without overpowering them.
We’ve been especially inspired by Cherrywood’s Succulent collection, sparking endless ideas for incorporating ORCHID zippers into our projects!

Rounding out this special release collection is OLIVE.
No spring palette would be complete without green, and this shade perfectly captures the essence of gardens and fresh new growth.
As we tested various greens against upcoming fabric designs, OLIVE consistently stood out as a fantastic match for many designers.
Whether you're drawn to Tula Pink’s vibrant Untamed collection or have been eyeing Tilda’s fabulous lines, this zipper will complement your projects beautifully.
A Palette That Works Together
One of the things we love most about this collection is how beautifully these colors complement each other.
We can easily imagine using all four colors in a single project—especially something like A Place for Everything 2.0, which requires multiple zippers.
If you pair them with Tula’s Full Moon Forest II collection, you’ll notice how seamlessly each zipper color blends.
Kaffe x Morris is another great example of a collection where any of these zippers would be a perfect fit.
Some of us love bold contrast for fun, unique bags, while others prefer a zipper that blends in.
With these new colors, you can achieve either look effortlessly!

Product Details & Special Release
Like all of our ByAnnie handbag zippers, these are a #4.5 size — perfect for purses, bags, totes, and more. Unlike standard apparel zippers, they feature a wide zipper tape, making them MUCH easier to work with.
The soft, flexible nylon teeth allow you to sew right through the tape without worrying about broken needles. They’re also easy to cut to any length you need!
For this special release, we’re offering these four colors as Zippers by the Yard. Each set includes four yards of nylon zipper chain and 16 matching pulls. And since the colors coordinate so beautifully, you can mix and match zipper pulls for a fun contrast!
With the generous 4-yard length, you’ll minimize waste and maximize both your time and budget.
These special edition colors are expected to be available throughout 2025, though they haven’t been officially added to our long-term collection just yet.
