Fabric Requirements for Both A and B Scrappy Quilts
Quilt A (featured quilt) 150cm x 180cm (59" x 70") and a 2nd quilt (B)approx. 110cm x 110cm (43" x 43"). Note that when sewing and cutting the strips you will make enough for both A and B quilts.
- A variety of 60 med/dark 2½" x 42" (width of fabric) strips.
- A variety of 60 light background 2½" x 42" strips.
- Border for Quilt A: 50cm (⅔yd)
- Backing and binding for quilt A: 3.5m (4yds)
- Backing and binding for quilt B: 2.4m (2⅔ yds)
- A 6" square ruler for rotary cutting such as the Omnigrid 6" ruler or a 6" square of template plastic.
Optional fabric requirements to make only Quilt A (featured quilt) using two light background fabrics
Quilt A (featured quilt) 150cm x 180cm (59" x 70").
A less scrappy version with only two different light background fabrics.
- A variety of 60 med/dark 2½" x 42" (width of fabric) strips.
- 60cm (⅔yd) each of two light background fabrics.
